each time i clean, i burn sage. the native americans knew something good and they were smart to have passed it along. it's a shamanistic tradition and it is a ritual that has become an integral part of my life. especially if i feel tired or rundown...
take a bowl or an ashtray, break up a few stalks of dried sage that you can get from an organic store or bazaar and burn it a bit. the smoke needs to be fanned starting from the main door of the house and trailed along in a clockwise direction as you walk from one room to another. corners like to get smoked out, they don't get much attention you see...
the other thing you need to give more attention to is yourself. i put the smoking sage between my feet and smoke myself out. cleans the aura. and then i take a power nap because the cleansed aura needs to get used to it being clean you know. and a nap can't hurt.
